Hydrant System
Fire hydrant installation consists of a system of pipe work connected directly to the water supply main to provide water to each and every hydrant outlet and is intended to provide water for the firemen to fight a fire.
Co2 System
CO2 is an odorless, colorless, electrically non-conductive, non-corrosive, and non-deteriorating agent. CO2 System consists of a fixed supply of CO2 converted through a piping network and nozzles.
Fire Alarm System
A fire alarm system has a number of devices working together to detect and warn people through visual and audio appliances when smoke, fire, carbon monoxide or other emergencies are present.
Hose Reel System
A fire hose reel is a first attack piece of fire-fighting equipment. The control nozzle attached to the end of the hose enables the operator to control the direction and flow of water to the fire.
Sprinkler System
Fire sprinklers work because high heat triggers the sprinkler system. When a blaze ignites, the air directly above it heats rapidly.
Wet & Dry Riser System
Most buildings have a “wet riser” or “wet standpipe” system where the pipes are kept full of water for manual or automatic fire fighting operations.
Wet Chemical Suppression
The wet chemical suppression system is what most people understand as the traditional fire suppression system, for instance in a commercial kitchen.
Hydrostatic Test
During a hydrostatic test, your fire extinguisher will be filled with water or oil and then pressurized to test the shell for integrity.

Our Founder
Our founder, Mr Megaraj Selvarajoo, is a firefighting expert who had accumulated almost ten years of wealth experience and knowledge in undertaking installation, consultancy, care and maintenance services for fire protection system.
Maintenance & Service
- Back in 2002, Mr Megaraj Selvarajoo joined the fire protection industry as an assistant technical at northern region, a leading firefighting contractor at Ipoh, Perak. He has gained lots of skills and experience about fire extinguishers maintenance to guide him
towards the sector. However, he decided to leave the job a year later as his ambition and motivation led him to pursue further study. He firmly believes t hat the combination of practical experience and education will be indispensable throughout his career path.
Extensive Industry Experience
- In 10 years experience, he continued to work with northern reagion and promoted to a supervisor position. Meanwhile, he persisted in learning and improving himself with knowledge, skills, and abilities to keep his passion in the fire fighting industry alive. He has learned and practiced refilling different fire extinguishers ( water, foam, dry powder, CO2 and wet chemical) following the correct and safe procedures . He also gained lots of experience about installing, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting the fire suppression systems and equipment in the building, for example, fire alarms, manual call points, smoke detectors, heat detectors, escape route signs, emergency lights, fire alarm bells, starter board, and so forth. He also has experience setting and maintaining conventional fire alarm panels and addressable fire alarm panel, sprinkler system, hose reel systems, wet/dry riser systems and pump maintenance (duty, standby & jockey pump). He had an insatiable desire for learning that made him practiced and mastered them thoroughly and gained a minute of acquaintance with every detail of the fire safety engineering.
Taking on Further Challenges
- After years in firefighting sector, he has gained important work experience and valuable insights into the industry. From his humble beginning as work f rom the industry’s grassroots, he has handled and worked in various projects like factories, commercial
shop lots, hospitals, shopping malls and government premises. H is strong work ethic and passion with the industry drove him to rolled-up sleeves and be gin his own company, Kejuruteraan Sinar Maju Teknik (KSMT) Sdn. Bhd from the ground up. He is now working to push the company forward aggressively to provide the highest standard and best value service to the community.
